Welcome To Our Website

Welcome to Kingswinford Athletic FC.

Kingswinford Athletic Football Club was formed in 1999, initially known as Kford boys, the club was formed by myself at that time for my son Richard to play mini-soccer along with some of his friends.  On application into the SDYFL it was quickly identified that some of the players fell out of the same age group. To enable all of the players at that time to play mini-soccer we had to quickly recruit new players to form both an under 7's and under 8 teams.

At the end of the first season, which found both teams being successful, it was decided to expand the club and form further teams, the club name was then changed to Kingswinford Boys FC.  The club itself has grown over the years and is presently known as Kingswinford Athletic Football Club and with the introduction of two girls teams in 2006 continues to grow and support the local community in finding a platform for children to experience the game of football in a safe and controlled manner with all of our coaches being qualified and holding relevant CRB forms along with us having our own Child Protection Officer.

We are as a club in the process of applying for the Football Charter Standard and hope to have this in place in the very near future.  Throughout the 8 years that Kingswinford Athletic Football Club has been formed we have grown from starting with 10 boys to having over 100 players of both sex and the Club itself have produced players that have gone on to play District, County and Academy level to the point of two of the original boys are now entering full youth team contracts with West Bromwich Albion FC.

Kingswinford Athletic FC prides itself on welcoming children of all ages, ability and background.

Finally, I would like to wish all teams in all age groups success in the forthcoming season and assure both players and parents that total support will be offered by our coaching and management staff.
